FILMMAKING AND PHOTOGRAPHY
On-location production for food, agriculture, wine, hospitality, and other place-based brands
Based in Napa Valley and Sonoma County—working throughout California and beyond.
WHAT WE MAKE
Our work spans brand films, short-form editorial, photography, and seasonal content libraries for wine, food, agriculture, hospitality, and lifestyle brands.
Every project is built on location, shaped around real people and places, and approached with the larger body of work in mind — so the assets can support the brand across campaigns, seasons, and platforms.
-
Story-driven films for brands rooted in place, process, people, and point of view.
Our brand films are built through real environments, real voices, and the details that make a brand feel specific. We shape each film around a clear narrative thread, then capture the visuals, interviews, sound, and atmosphere needed to carry it.
These films can anchor a campaign, live on a website, introduce a brand, support a release, deepen trade education, or give audiences a more lasting sense of who you are and what you stand for.
Each production is approached with the larger body of work in mind, so the footage can also support short-form editorial, photography, campaign cutdowns, and long-term brand storytelling.
-
Focused story pieces built for social, web, email, and campaign use.
These are not cutdowns or filler posts. They are standalone editorial films shaped around a single idea, voice, place, process, or moment.
Created from new production, existing interviews, archival footage, written narration, or a larger visual library, each piece is designed to feel connected to the brand while giving the story more places to live.
-
On-location stills galleries for wine, food, hospitality, agriculture, and lifestyle brands.
Our photography is built around real places, real people, and the details that give a brand its texture: hands at work, seasonal shifts, product moments, hospitality scenes, vineyard and farm landscapes, and the quiet in-between frames that often carry the most feeling.
Captured alongside motion or as a standalone project, each gallery is created to support web, social, press, campaigns, trade materials, email, and long-term brand storytelling.
-
For brands that think long-term, beyond the single shoot.
A seasonal content library is built through multiple productions across the year — each one connected to the last, each one adding to a body of work that grows with the brand. Long-form films. Short-form edits. Campaign cutdowns. Interviews. Stills. Audio. All made on location, in the same light, shaped by one creative direction from the first frame to the last.
The work doesn't reset. It compounds.
What your team ends up with is a library of assets — organized, consistent, and built to be used across every channel, campaign, and season.
OUR APPROACH
Start with narrative development
Every project begins by shaping the story before we begin production. We look at the brand, the people, the place, the season, and the intended use of the work so the creative direction has a clear foundation.
This is where we define the story threads, interview approach, visual priorities, shot needs, and how the final assets should function across platforms.
Capture with purpose
We film and photograph on location, working with real people and real environments. Each production is planned to capture the voices, process, product, landscape, hospitality, atmosphere, and in-between moments that give the brand its texture.
Build beyond one deliverable
A single production can support a brand film, short-form editorial pieces, photography, campaign cutdowns, web content, email, trade, press, and future seasonal storytelling.
Keep the work connected
The goal is a cohesive body of work, not a pile of disconnected assets. Everything should feel like it came from the same brand, the same place, and the same point of view.
From the first conversation to final delivery, we stay close to the work at every stage.
OUR PROCESS
-
In Pre-Production, we define what the film is about before the camera rolls. Some projects are shaped through in-depth interviews, others through written scripts, and many live somewhere between the two.
Story development and structure
Script writing or interview framework design
Creative direction and messaging alignment
Shot planning and visual references
Location study and production scheduling
Production begins with direction — but leaves room for discovery.
-
We film on location, allowing environment, pace, and presence to inform the frame. Motion and stills are captured together in the same production window — one visual language across film and photography from the start.
The pace is measured, allowing moments to unfold naturally. Storytelling may be guided through in-depth interviews, written structure, or a hybrid of both.
In-depth interviews shaped for narrative clarity
Script-informed direction when appropriate
Integrated still photography capture
Environmental and process coverage
Aerial cinematography when appropriate
Field audio capture
-
Post-production editing services for video and film. This is where narrative takes its final form — interviews distilled, scripted elements refined, structure and pacing clarified through editorial.
Narrative editing and story distillation
Color grading
Sound design and audio refinement
Voiceover direction and integration when appropriate
Delivery formatting for campaign, social, and web
For projects we produce, post-production continues the work begun on location. We also collaborate with brands and agencies who bring their own footage, shaping structure and finish with the same narrative discipline.
WHO WE WORK WITH
We work with food, agriculture, wine, hospitality, and other place-based brands that care about story, place, process, and visual consistency over time.
Our best-fit clients have a clear marketing direction and are building more than a single campaign. They need films, photography, and visual assets that can support web, social, email, trade, press, hospitality, releases, and long-term brand communications.
We often partner with in-house marketing and communications teams, founders, hospitality groups, and brand leaders who want a thoughtful production partner—not a high-volume content vendor.
The best projects give us access to real people, working environments, and the details that make a brand feel specific.
