Story editing
Long interviews contain more than one possible film. So do archives, production days, and folders of footage accumulated over time.
We review the material for the strongest ideas, moments, and relationships between images. What leads? What supports it? What can fall away?
Color, sound, and finishing
We use color to create continuity and protect the character of the footage. Sound design, natural sound, dialogue cleanup, and music are shaped around the pace and tone of the piece. Finishing prepares the agreed versions for delivery.
Versions and formats
A finished film may need a shorter version, a different emphasis, or a format suited to another use. We plan these edits around the material and the brief. A new aspect ratio still needs a considered frame; a shorter edit still needs a complete thought.
Campaign pieces can be made here from suitable existing material. We define the edit around the campaign’s needs, the footage available, and the formats your team will use.
Existing material and remote editing
Selected projects can begin with footage we did not shoot. That may include interviews, archive footage, previously commissioned material, or a production that needs a clearer final shape.
We review the material first and define the edit around what it can support. When something important is missing, we identify it before recommending additional production. Editing can happen remotely from suitable client-supplied footage, transcripts, interviews, and scripts.

Can we commission editing without a new shoot?
Yes, for selected projects. We first review the available material, the intended outcome, and what the edit needs. A strong existing archive may support the work without additional filming.
Are shorter versions and different aspect ratios included automatically?
The required versions, formats, and finishing are defined in the project scope. Tell us where the work needs to appear so we can plan the edit and delivery around those uses.
